I linked up with producer/director Eli Sokhn and his team to create VFX for Wes Stromberg's new music video "If Only". There were 23 shots that required a varying range of treatment, from full 3D overlays and tracking, to static green-screen background replacements. Being such a slow and direct song, the magic had to happen subtleties of movement, and the underlying detail that transports the viewer into Wes's own fantastic world of self-questioning and regret. Working on such an understated piece brought it's own set of challenges, and the creation process was enlightening as much as it was fun.
